Announcing Fall 2026 Author Series

FOSEL has evolved to the South End Library Author Series to reach beyond the South End and Boston for experienced and debut authors & their books to engage our friends and neighbors in stimulating discussion and reading.

Enjoy an energizing evening connecting with admired authors whose work will range across multiple genres and geographies!  After the talk and Q&A discussion, take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the showcased book, get it signed by the author, and snack on delicious appetizers, wine/soft drinks with other readers from the South End.  It’s a great time to connect with friends and neighbors.

Parkside Books, our neighborhood bookstore at 260 Shawmut Ave, will be on site to sell the books and it will be a good moment to connect with them as well.  https://www.parksidebookshop.com/

Andre Hardy will kick off our Fall 2026 series on October 14th with Tear Down the City, a hard-hitting, heart wrenching crime story that brilliantly blends elements of jazz, football, family, and a gritty portrait of a divided San Diego.
