BPL Trustees to Hold Bi-Monthly Meeting, Tuesday, March 8 at Charlestown Branch, 3 PM, With Officially Scheduled Period of Public Comment on its Agenda

The trustees of the BPL are meeting tomorrow at 3 PM in a regularly scheduled bi-monthly meeting. Agenda items of interest are updates on budget discussions and strategic planning, as well as a newly added period of public comment. Until now, public comment was allowed only by special permission of the BPL trustees' chair or, occasionally, other trustees. Numerous trustee meetings were adjourned without the benefit of the public's questions or feedback, causing increasing frustration by library advocates and patrons attending the proceedings.
