Don't Miss the December 15 South End Library Holiday Party with Jazz Phenomenon Pat Loomis and his Friends and their Special Guest, the Award-winning Alto Saxophonist Tia Fuller, Formerly with Beyonce and Esperanza Spalding

Award-winning Alto Saxophone Player and Special Guest at the Dec 15 Holiday party, Tia Fuller You don't want to miss the South End library's Holiday Party that starts on Tuesday, December 15 at 6:30 PM. As always, it's a blur of delicious food prepared by John Hampton, husband of library staffer Carol Glass, and  another fantastic jazz-performance-between-the-bookshelves with Pat Loomis and Friends. This year, Loomis is bringing special guest Tia Fuller, the award-winning saxophonist who won the DownBeat Critics Poll 'Rising Star' award two years in a row for soprano sax (2014) alto sax and flute (2013). She has performed with bassist and singer Esperanza Spalding and played with Beyonce for President Obama in the White House. Tia Fuller teaches at Berklee College.

The other outstanding members of Pat Loomis and Friends have played for you in Library Park's Summer Concerts.  They are Pat Loomis himself (alto-saxophone); his son Antonio Shiell (guitar); Amy Bellamy (piano); Christoff Glaude (bass); and Dave Fox (drums). The event is sponsored by FOSEL, meaning all of you who have contributed so generously to the Friends of the South End Library. The event starts at 6:30 PM and is free to all. The South End library is fully handicapped accessible.
